Founding members, Johnnie Dee and Derry Grehan, formed Honeymoon Suite in 1982 after an introduction by their manager. In 1983 they entered their local radio station’s Homegrown Contest with “New Girl Now”, won and were signed immediately! Their platinum-status first album was released in 1984, and their second and third albums featured help from Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson, and Doobie Brother Michael McDonald respectively.

Honeymoon Suite have opened for Billy Idol, April Wine, Laura Branigan, Jethro Tull, The Kinks, Bryan Adams. Heart, .38 Special, ZZ Top, Journey, Starship, and Saga. With a career spanning over four decades, they’ve won a Juno, had songs featured on “Miami Vice”, “Lethal Weapon II” and “One Crazy Summer”, and after a few lineup changes over the years, the original band has reunited to bring you hits like “Feel It Again”, “Burning In Love”, “Wave Babies”!
